  1. My first contact with The Beatles was near 31 years ago (thanks to Mafalda cartoon), My mother gave me 2 cassettes: Yellow Submarine, and Yesterday and Today. Wow…

  2. Favorite album has remained Rubber Soul since I bought my first copy as a 12″ LP. I am having difficulty recalling the title of the other Beatle album I bought in the late sixties: I don’t think it had any color artwork. It was white with black ink printing. And the songs included Tax Man, Drive My Car, Dr Robert, Day Tripper. . . I am quite sure I had not purchased either Yesterday and Today or Revolver. Just Rubber Soul and this now mysterious album. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  3. XII 1964

    3 LP’s: The Beatles
Musart DC 993 [Mono] [Box Set] Meksyk
    The Beatles
Contained : LP: Conozca A The Beatles
    LP: The Beatles Vol. 2
    LP: The Beatles Vol. 3

  4. 1963
SP: EllaTeAma / La Vi Alla
(She Loves You / I Saw Her Standing There)
    Musart 3576 [Mono] Meksyk
    The Beatles

    10” singiel.

exist claiming that Musart (of Mexico) issued “She Loves You” as a 78, but no copies are known to exist

    1. Actually is interesting to find that some songs are reprocessed for stereo (wich means is a copy of the Capitol master) and some are mono, wich probably are copies of the american copy of the english mono master. Sources must have been Capitol USA then

  5. I have a Beatle EP i bought in Mexico City in the late 70s the cover is the same photo as Rubber Soul without the Rubber Soul writing EPEM10074 the disc says The Beatles
Capitol de Mexico lado 1 Michelle—Girl
lado 2 Day Tripper–We Can Work It Out (P) 1972 can anyone tell me anything about it ? thanks

    1. EP´s were a popular format in Mexico and you can find a lot of them because they were cheaper and had more songs than the singles, Some are only George´s songs (George is very popular since he is married to a mexican woman) and some only Ringo´s songs. Some are from the same LP, and some are a very strange mix of songs…. Most songs on LPs are also on EP´s in Mexico. and this one of yours seems to be the mix of the Day tripper/we can work it out single (released in the UK the same day as rubber soul LP , dec.3, 1965, and this then extended to EP with the inclusion of Girl and Michelle. In Germany this two later songs are also edited as a single, so it could be they have information from other world singles, or just chosed them for some other reason. the (p) mostly in all Capitol de Mexico records are marked with the year 1971 or 1972 because it is a second or third edition, I have seen 1971, 1972 and 1975 and somewhere else in the same record the original date ( (p)1965 for example) wich is the original date of the first edition.

  6. En verdad estoy muy impresionado por las portadas que están puestas…. Tambien watoy muy agradecido por haberlas subido… The Beatles… SIEMPRE Inmortales hasta el final del tiempo……

    1. estas impresionado con estas portadas cuando les faltan bastantes, en mi coleccion solo hay 52 discos de vinilo prensados en mexico, sin incluir los de solistas e importados

      1. I have some Mexican editions bought in the mid eighties, all of it edited by Capitol de México. The covers of Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 are different than Musart’s editions. Yet the tracklists are almost the same. If you guys want photos, let me know. I’ll be glad to share them.

  7. Eric (Veracruz, Ver. Mexico)

I heard The Beatles when John Lennon died because some radio stations began to broadcast in memory of him… I was 14 and I was shocked by music, by rythm… I heard disco music stuff but that was astonishing… since then Beatles music have been present at home…

  11. Hello, I am looking for information about an album “The Beatles Live! at the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany; 1962” , I want to know how this album is cataloged, I hope you can help me, I send you greetings from Mexico
