Paul McCartney performed at the Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil, on 9 December 2023.
It was the 33rd show of the Got Back Tour, which lasted for 59 dates between April 2022 and December 2024, and the second of three nights in São Paulo.
The show featured an impromptu version of ‘Give Peace A Chance’, initially sung by the crowd, which McCartney and his band continued.
McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums), Kenji Fenton (saxophone), Mike Davis (trumpet), and Paul Burton (trombone).
McCartney had previously performed at the Allianz Parque stadium on 25 and 26 November 2014 during the Out There Tour; 15 October 2017 for the One On One Tour; and 26 and 27 March 2019 for the Freshen Up Tour. He returned there on 15 and 16 October 2024 during the Got Back Tour.
