David Sheff continued his interview with John Lennon and Yoko Ono for Playboy on 12 September 1980.
Sheff joined the couple at the Dakota Building at midday, accompanied them to the Hit Factory for their recording session, then continued that evening back at the Dakota. Sheff also spoke to the couple on 11, 15, 17, 24, 25, and 28 September 1980.
