It was the seventh show by the tenth All-Starr Band. Their tour of North America lasted for 29 dates between June and August 2008.
Starr had previously performed at the Etess Arena on 12, 13, and 14 February 1999, 12 May 2000, 10 August 2001, 2 August 2003, and 15 July 2006. He returned there on 24 September 2022.
