Starr had previously performed at Humphreys Concerts By The Bay on 16 August 1995, 4 May 1997, 25 and 26 June 2000, 7 September 2003, and 29 June 2006. He returned there on 6 August 2010, 19 July 2012, 11 July 2014, 1 July 2016, 27 September 2018, 28 and 31 May 2023, and 7 September 2024.
