Paul McCartney live: Nouveau Stade Vélodrome, Marseille, France

The 76th concert of Paul McCartney’s Out There tour took place at the Nouveau Stade Vélodrome in the city of Marseille, France. It was the first of two French dates in the long-running tour.

Here’s a clip of McCartney and his band rehearsing prior to the concert:

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

As he often does during his French performances, McCartney added The Beatles’ 1965 song ‘Michelle’ to the set.
