Paul McCartney live: Lollapalooza 2015

Paul McCartney brought his Out There tour back to the USA with a performance at Lollapalooza 2015 in Grant Park, Chicago.

The concert was the 87th date of the long-running tour, and followed a trio of dates in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The setlist was slightly shorter than McCartney’s usual one. It was most notable for a performance of the Rhianna song FourFiveSeconds, which was written by Rhianna, McCartney and Kanye West. McCartney previously performed the song with his co-writers at the 2015 Grammy Awards, but the Lollapalooza show was the first solo version.

The band was joined by Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard, who had performed at Lollapalooza earlier in the day.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).
