John Lennon mixed ‘Be My Baby’ in stereo on 14 October 1974.
Lennon had already mixed the song for his Rock ‘N’ Roll album on 8 October, but was evidently unhappy with the results. The song was, however, left off the album, and remained unreleased until 1998’s John Lennon Anthology.
