Most. Boring. Christmas. EVER.I feel much the same. My sister’s not with us and, somehow, the cat managed to open the oven door and eat the leftover turkey (which has caused a massive argument). Dunno whether it’s good that it’ll all be over soon, or bad because this means yet another xmas has gone by that I haven’t enjoyed. Still deciding that one….
Sorry your Christmases have blown Linde and Emily. Maybe Boxing Day will be better.

I typed my last reply somewhere in the afternoon, but in the end Christmas turned out alright. Nothing spectacular. Today was more fun indeed. But I’ll just post that in the Christmas thread.

Offline The cat in the oven story reminds me of a question I’d ask Paul: Is he bothered by animals who eat other animals (carnivores)? Or does he “respect” them because they are animals? If they latter, why doesn’t he respect the human animal for eating other animals?
Or would Paul write a song dedicated to tigers and lions and sit in a zoo cage strumming his guitar and singing to them about how they should stop eating fellow animals…?

Looks like its been hacked (that or Joe is suggesting a diet for folks who have eaten too much over the festive period). I’veJustSeenAFaceo has posted the same as yourself ASJ over in ‘Weird Things Happening With The Forum‘. I’ll send Joe an email, he might get that quicker than a post.

Just need his home address and we could send someone round to his door to wake him up. Might not be too pleased tho when the kids get awoken at 1/2 2 in the morning tho.

Offline I made this comment in another thread originally, but I thought it should be x-posted somewhere. Mods, feel free to move it if there is a better place for it.
It looks like it takes a day or two for a post to show up when using a Google search with site:beatlesbible.com/forum. Important information to know. Same thing goes for the forum search box and the BB main search box. Makes me feel somewhat relieved that I couldn’t find your post. I have a sneaking suspicion that I should have known about the time lag.
While doing these searches, I also discovered that the date on which the post was made is not necessarily the date that displays on the Google results page. It may or may not be. I’ll admit I’m getting in over my head now on how the back end of computer stuff works that makes the searching possible.

Offline I deleted my youtube account when i started getting notices that turned out to be hiding viruses – clicking on them brought up big red warnings from my antivirus checker.
