They changed it because it wouldn’t do to have a song title longer than the song itself; and because Pink Floyd threatened a lawsuit, stating their intention to meet each other in 1965 and record an identically-titled track in 1969.

Offline I have heard a bootleg recording of Socks from the recording session when they were working on Skirt. I really think they should have worked on Socks more and put it on the album instead of Leg Warmer. I know. I know. Leg Warmer has die hard fans. But, Socks just knocks my socks off.
And we would have to go to the Fifty Shades thread to discuss the verse they left out of Pants.

The Plaid reprise is note for note the same as Plaid. The only difference is that Ringo sings instead of John.

Offline They decided to buy some pets to be official Beatles mascots. So Paul bought a cat and named it Dog, while John decided upon a dog named Cat. Cat and Dog played tag for awhile, with Cat chasing Dog up a tree (where Dog caught a fish named Bird), followed by Dog chasing Cat into the Seine (where Cat caught a bird named Fish.) In the end, Paul and John decided that Dog the cat and Cat the dog would be too much trouble, so they took them back to the pet store owned by a man named Mouse and exchanged them for a mouse, which they named Mr. Stephen Tompkins.

Ringo. His work on ‘Thomas The Tank Engine’ was ground-breaking where he went under the pseudonym of Biggie Smalls. The language used was a bit of a shock tho, so if shocked by offensive language better you not listen to it.

Offline Because a few years earlier, Ringo mimicked Paul while singing his song, Yesterday . His impression was so good, that Parlophone accidentally misprinted Yesterday as a Lennon/McCartney song. After it spawned a ton of covers, Paul later said he wished he wrote the song, and became furious towards Ringo. Paul’s mimicking in YKMN was an unsuccessful attempt at payback, as most people ignored it, and instead focused on Brian Jones’ amazing saxophone playing.
What else did Paul do to try to do to get revenge on Ringo?
