It was the fifth show of the 12th All-Starr Band’s tour of North America, which lasted for 46 dates between June and October 2014.

Starr had previously performed at the NYCB Theatre on 21 and 24 February 1999, 16 and 17 May 2000, 4 and 5 August 2003, 12 and 14 July 2006, 29 June 2008, and 30 June 2010.
