While Paul and Linda McCartney were on holiday in Jamaica with their children, on 1 March 1977 studio engineer Geoff Emerick made a 24-track master tape containing the best basic tracks recorded thus far for the London Town album.

The songs were ‘Name And Address’, ‘London Town’, ‘Children Children’, and ‘Girlfriend’. Emerick also made a second reel with the best take of ‘Girls School’, which was released on a double a-side single with ‘Mull Of Kintyre’. The song was later re-recorded.
