It was the 13th show of the Got Back Tour, which lasted for 36 dates between April 2022 and December 2023, and the first of two consecutive nights in Boston.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums), Kenji Fenton (saxophone), Mike Davis (trumpet), and Paul Burton (trombone).

McCartney had previously performed at Fenway Park on 5 and 6 August 2009 during the Summer Live ’09 Tour; 9 July 2013 for the Out There Tour; and 17 July 2016 for the One On One Tour.
