John Lennon and Yoko Ono gave a number of interviews to media outlets on 19 July 1971.
The interviews were conducted at their Tittenhurst Park home in Ascot, England. The journalists included representatives from Record Mirror, New Musical Express, Reveille, and the Southern Evening Echo.
Also present were photographers John McKenzie, Alex Agor, and Peter Fordham. On this day Lennon took part in a parody of Paul and Linda McCartney’s Ram album cover, which was included as a free postcard with copies of the Imagine album.
