ahdn_paul_06 That’s what I always imagine too. He could be sitting in the dark at a kitchen table or in a cold living room/parlour/den, but I always imagine him in bed…then again…I imagine Paul in bed often a-hard-days-night-paul-7. Shhhhh, Ahhh Girl.

In this instance, you’re not alone.

You imagine Paul in bed often as well @Mr. Kite? The conversation in my head could go down very disturbing routes, i really better off not post it.

@meanmistermustard In this instance, I agree. You already took something out of context with Ringo and a closet (at least pattie-boyd_02_gif was involved) but it won’t happen again!

And even if for some reason I imagined Paul in bed often, there’s no way I could rival AG. a-hard-days-night-john-6

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Agree? Both were jokes based on what you posted, nothing was meant in any other manner. Apologies if that didnt come thru or offended you or someone else.apple01

I mean I agree with AG about that line giving that visual.

I got your joke completely both times, no offense taken at all! The only reason I brought the Ringo thing up is because I thought it was funny. My post probably doesn’t give the tone I meant it too.

All’s good! apple01 ahdn_ringo_09

Water taxis (boats) like the ones I saw in Venice.

That actually goes along with “shore” and “a boat on river”. Hummmm? I’m even making myself go hummmm now.

What is “it” in this lyric?

“When you find yourself in the thick of it
Help yourself to a bit of what is all around you”

The Brazilian rainforest.

What drummer named Keith Moon, who was the godfather of Richard Starkey’s oldest son Zak who went on to be the touring drummer for the band The Who, who Keith was the original drummer for, was the song C Moon by John Lennon written for?

*Politics (kind of). Paul wrote that line having been inspired by the tv comedy series ‘The Think Of It‘, the writers expressed their appreciation thru writing the small cameo role of Sir Gerald for Paul (a nod as well to the 1967 Beatles Christmas record ‘Christmas Time Is Here Again ‘ which featured Sir Gerald).

(P) : Sitting in the main studio tonight is a cross section of British youth. I’d like, first of all, to speak to you, Sir Gerald.
(J) : Oh, not a bit of it. We had a job to do, Nigel.
(P) : Yes, yes, quite. I don’t think you’re answering my question.
(J) : Ah, let me put it this way. There was a job to be done.

In the song ‘Think For Yourself ‘ George sings “Think For Yourself  cause i won’t be there for you”. Earlier in the song George tells us where he is going to be, where exactly is it (please stipulate the full answer to get the point)?

*Note. I am replying to Ahh Girls post.

George won’t be “there” with “her”, having left her far behind. My guess is that “she” is naturally Pattie Boyd, and George had already decided that his chum Eric could have her if he wanted her –she was a major pain in the bum. What does “there” refer to, and where did he leave her? Naturally he left her “there” under the Eiffel Tower (there’s an in-joke about it in John’s I Am The Walrus ) on a rainy autumn day. Where will George be? At his Italian Villa in L’Orologio del Ciucino, where he will lead an ascetic life meditating in front of a copy of the Mona Lisa and smoking hashish from a hookah.

(And, um, if someone understood Mr. Kite’s Jabberwocky, please answer it)

She had to dance if she want to. She can leave her friends behind. ‘Cause her friends don’t dance and if they don’t dance. Well, they’re no friends of hers.

True or False:

It was Faul who sang “Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you”. He needed the girl to close her eyes so she wouldn’t recognize that he was Faul and not Paul.

Patently false. He was addressing a guy.

What does Paul say after “Oh, that this too, too sullied flesh would melt” in AHDN ?

What, now Paul is a homo too? I thought that rumor was reserved for John…
