Which Beatle was most loved by children?

Well, a survey of young children illustrated that they appreciated Paul for his effortless subtle-yet-supple melodicism; George for his spiritual yearnings tempered by bone-dry wit; and John for his relentless, nakedly honest self-examination…but liked Ringo most because he had the funniest name; and mostly because he earned his living by hitting things with sticks.

What did young children dislike the most about the Beatles?

The trousers. a-hard-days-night-paul-3

What sort of things did Ringo hit with sticks, besides his drums?

The xylophone. It is little known that Ringo was a xylophone virtuoso.

Why didn’t children like the Beatles’ trousers?

they weren’t even as obscene as Led Zepp’s ahdn_john_08_gif

1. Their climb up Mount Everest was canceled due to an avalanche.

2. George lost his guitar

3. Their first venue had no mains power

4. They were double booked on the third venue.

There were others but I won’t bore you with the details.

Whose shoe was old and brown?

Nothing – the laws of Christendom required that they observe the day of rest by sitting silent and still all afternoon, so they did that (while dreaming of the day that someone would invent the electric guitar).

What did the Beatles do on the night of December 31, 1969?

John and Yoko: Sending imaginary xmas to all Nutopian citizens

George: Staying home counting his digestive biscuits (all of them)

Paul: walking barefoot all around his farm

Ringo: playing chess with his chess and soul mate Bobby (Fischer)

What did The Beatles do right after the rooftop concert?

He requested that the people in the cheaper seats mend their own chairs if they fell apart during the show. And that it was actually Ringo who said the band would take a 15 minute break (to rest) before they came back on stage to do it to ’em one more time! a-hard-days-night-ringo-10

What is the story behind the album cover for John Lennon /Plastic Ono Band? Why are John and Yoko up against that tree?

It was John’s way of letting know his good old fella Paul McCartntree that, in spite of all their fusses and fights and all that jazz, he still remembered him and was beside him.

What was Paul’s reaction to that cover?

Dear Mr. Harrison,

Enclosed please find one (1) copy of The Harry and Eddie Band’s debut single, an “answer record” entitled “Trousers”. We hope you find it “fab”!

Sincerely,

Harold Wilson – Edward Heath

Why did Paul want to give “A Day In The Life ” to the Stones to record?
