I have been feeling awful since yesterday. Got a sore throat and have an incredibly stuffy nose. This is the first time I’ve gotten sick in 5 years, so hopefully it should clear up quickly.

I feel like the technical problem that appears 90% of the time on this forum has to do with PM’s which I can’t relate to since I’ve only ever exchanged 13 PM’s total with 3 People on this site, and all instances were when the PM’s were working fine.

Offline ^ Add me to the sick crew, I’ve had a pretty bad chesty cough for nearly a week and last night my nose decided to become all bunged up 🙁
It’s not nice, doesn’t help that I have exams to study for as well.
Also a horrible BIS project (the subject wasn’t horrible but my group mates were, I might tell the story later but at the minute I’m fed up saying it) like 3 days before it was due my skin just broke out horrendously- I had spots all on my chin, under my eyebrow, my forehead- it was horrible. I never had acne and hopefully I never will but I just felt rotten in those few days and when I was talking to anybody I tried to cover my face constantly with scarves, hats, my sleeves whatever.
Thankfully, since that shit storm has ended, my skin has gone back to its relatively clear, normal state, thank Christ!

Offline I’m not sick, thankfully. I’ve been sick less often since quitting alcohol.
Woke up this morning and said an abbreviated private mass. We were done in 30 minutes; I think that’s the shortest one I’ve done. My altar server had to work this morning so we started at 8:00 AM.

I’m not the most talkative person ever, I don’t ever see the need to speak just to do conversation so to fill the silence nor have any desire for small talk, and have no interest in 99.8% of the tv programmes on at the moment. You can imagine therefore how little I say at work.
I’m generally not very talkative, either, and I used to be a lot quieter than I am now. It actually became a problem for me because I would sometimes go whole school days without saying one word, and it got to the point where I was so used to not talking that even if I wanted to say something, I was unable to.

When so much younger than today one of my brothers or myself would go with my father 2 or 3 days before Christmas and get a real 7ft Christmas tree for our living room. We always got a really nice one.
