A mixing session for Wings’ ‘Goodnight Tonight’ single took place on 1 February 1979.
Paul McCartney oversaw mixes of the song and its b-side, ‘Daytime Nighttime Suffering’.
None of the day’s mixes were released, however. ‘Goodnight Tonight’ was mixed again on 5, 8, and 9 February, and 2 March 1979, and ‘Daytime Nighttime Suffering’ was mixed on 2 March.
