John Lennon and Yoko Ono were interviewed for the BBC radio show Woman’s Hour on 28 May 1971.
The interview took place at the couple’s Tittenhurst Park home, and was conducted by Hilary Henson. They discussed pop music and the commercialisation of sex.
The encounter was also filmed by a three-man crew who were working on a project with the working title Your Show, intended for release with Lennon and Ono’s forthcoming albums.
"I think that music reflects the state that society's in, it doesn't suggest the state."

Later in the day, the cover photography for Lennon’s second solo album Imagine took place on the south lawn of the house, and the backing track for ‘Oh My Love’ and overdubs for ‘Gimme Some Truth’ were recorded.
