Recording, mixing: I Remember Jeep by George Harrison

EMI Studios, Abbey Road
Producer: George Harrison

‘I Remember Jeep’ had been recorded at Olympic Sound Studios on 29 March 1969, shortly before George Harrison began producing Billy Preston’s album That’s The Way God Planned It.

On this day, at a session held at Abbey Road, Harrison, John Lennon, and Yoko Ono added handclaps to the recording. At the time it was known as ‘Jam Piece’.

Harrison also added a live Moog synthesizer part while the final mix was being created towards the end of the session. ‘I Remember Jeep’ was then shelved until its release on Harrison’s third album All Things Must Pass in November 1970.
