The first of two listening parties for Wings’ fourth album Venus And Mars was held on 12 May 1975.
The event was hosted by Paul McCartney at EMI’s Manchester Square HQ in London. Members of the press corps were invited to hear the album and speak to McCartney about it.
A similar event was held in New York City on 20 May.
