This was The Beatles' eighth show at Litherland Town Hall, where they had given a triumphant homecoming performance on 27 December 1960, following their first trip to Hamburg.

This was The Beatles' fifth performance at the Cassanova Club, promoted by Sam R Leach. The date was rescheduled from 18 February, when The Beatles had originally been booked to perform.

This was The Beatles' third performance at Liverpool's Cavern Club. As with the previous two, it was a lunchtime show taking place from 1-2pm.
