‘Home Tonight’ is a song by Paul McCartney, released in 2019 as a double a-side single with ‘In A Hurry’.
Both songs were recorded during the sessions for McCartney’s 17th solo album Egypt Station. It is likely to have been recorded at Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood.
The release
The single was released on vinyl on 29 November 2019 for Record Store Day, with artwork based on the collaborative game Exquisite Corpse.
‘Home Tonight’ was also included on the Home EP, a streaming-only collection released on 13 November 2020 to promote the McCartney III album. The other tracks on the EP were ‘Eat At Home’, ‘Cook Of The House’, ‘Mull Of Kintyre’, ‘Every Night’, and ‘Heart Of The Country’.
The ‘Home Tonight’ and ‘In A Hurry’ single was included in the 2022 box set The 7″ Singles Box.
