So if Septic keeps talking about the PiD theory are they suspended? Is this thread locked?
I think the best solution would be just to disengage and live an let live. The more feel that they are dragged here, the more people might get snippy with each other and that will cause hurt feelings, suspensions and thread locks along with a bitter taste in our mouths.
I suggest to everyone that we all just step back a bit from this thread until some time has passed and we’re more chill. I was fine about the discussion but some people are not and that might turn into something bad.

I enjoyed part of it, too.
Anyway, we haven’t been screaming insults at each other or anything of that sort. It hasn’t stooped to that level, and it won’t either.
The better thing to do is not look if it’s annoying you. Ignore it.

I suggest that if you’ve seen all the evidence before there is little or nothing I can post that will change your views. If you genuinely can’t see the differences in their faces, nothing I can tell you will change that, I’ll just end up upsetting people. I was going to post details about the newsflash that broke into one of the first Monkees episodes on NBC tv, announcing there had been reports of Paul’s death – then no updates, except for a short paragraph denying it in the Beatles Monthly. NBC must have had a source to break into programming.
You can find source material as it was reported in the link I posted that contains full editions of every edition of the Beat magazine.
If you can’t just tell visually that these are different people, I have no more to add. If you can’t perceive the personality change, likewise.

The four Beatles signed the contract with EMI and this has been known for years. John’s comment wasn’t a definitive statement, it was a comment on the importance of Brian being their manager and keeping them together as a unit. The Beatles contract with Epstein was up for renewal in 1967, and it is speculated/said that the uncertainty of whether it would be renewed may have played a part in Brian’s anxieties that increased his use of barbiturates and led to his untimely death. Its very likely however that they would have renewed the contract, if anything out of loyalty, friendship and knowing full well how vital Brian was.
Not sure what you are getting at from this to be honest.

The Wired article is bogus.
All of the photo comparisons came from Digilander (a.k.a. SunKing), an avid PID supporter. Several of these photos have been tampered with (stretched) so imply a difference in features. Also, the angles, lighting, and facial expressions do not match, rendering those comparisons useless. But what really made me laugh was the claim that ‘high quality images’ were used. They’re internet photos, often scans or screenshots with low resolutions.
Several of the claims that have been made, can only be made by measuring actual skeletal remains. You can’t say someone’s jawline is different based on a single photo, especially when they’re not the original photos. Without knowing what kind of lens, focal length, etc was used, those comparisons are useless.
Look, I can dig up photos of myself to ‘prove’ I’ve been replaced. I mean, we all have pictures in which we look different, right? But I can also find tons of photos of Paul in which he looks exactly the same as he always has. There are enough videos that show the same mannerisms, enough audio in which you can clearly hear it’s the same voice. People are too focused on differences when they really should look at the things that never changed. Paul’s eyes are quite unique. They’re the same. He’s got several freckles on his face and neck, which have never changed. The veins on his hands are the same. His gnarly feet are the same. His pointy elbows are the same. In short: it’s the same man.

Offline I love this topic! I know the Paul is Dead conspiracy is false, but I love finding proof of it being true. I’ve done quite a bit of research on this topic so I’m extremely well versed in the clues and the parallels to actual Beatles history. Some of my favorite points of interest are the fact that the Beatles quit live touring at the time of Paul’s supposed death, and the fact that Oldies was made just because there was no 1966 Beatles Christmas material(Christmas 1966 would be close to Paul’s death). There are so may different things that I can go over on this topic. This is definitely one of my favorite points of Beatles discussion.
