Note by Ahhh Girl 4 May 2014: The Paul is Dead theme had spilled into 7 threads. They are now collected into this one.

1. Began 11 Feb 2010

2. Began 20 May 2010 (posts 15-30)

3. Began 17 June 2010 (posts 31-42)

4. Began 2 Aug 2010 (posts 54-62)

5. Began 11 March 2011 (posts 80-118)

6. Began 24 July 2013 (posts 143-233) which are interrupted by 2 posts (see next entry).

7. Began 18 Jan 2014 (posts 199-200)

I inserted notes into each post that had been the beginning of a new thread to help guide reading throughout.

The themes come up over and over, so the conversation doesn’t really seem very fractured.

I left these 2 PiD threads separate:

1. Let’s make up “Paul Is Dead” clues…

2. Paul will be dead

————————————-

I have known the Paul Is Dead conspiracy that claimed Paul McCartney died in a car crash during 1966 for a while now. I have had further look into this and noticed that most of these conspiracies are absolute RUBBISH! If anybody would like to know more about the Paul Is Dead conspiracy this is the best website for it:

http://homepages.tesco.net/har…..index.html

(I do NOT own this website, all credit goes to creator)

This link should take you to “Officially Pronounced Dead?” and it has many clues from album covers and many other things that lead up to Paul being dead (Does that make sense?)

After taking a look at that link please tell me what you think and if you know any other clues please tell me.

All The Best

Lewis

Thanks for the link. I’ve got a feature on the myth here – it’s perhaps not as thorough, but should detail all the key points.

I've always found it quite strange. I was 11 in 1969 when all this started and of course a Beatle fan, yet I have no memory of even hearing about it at the time.

I've read literally every possible clue out there, and while there are certain ones that freak me out (two Pauls in the Yellow Submarine movie, The '1 ONE 1 HE DIE' mirror, etc…) most of it just makes me cringe because so many rumours can be disproven with cold hard facts.

If you look hard enough I think you can always find clues by just using your imagination. It was just that someone did do that who had a very wild one Laugh

Did you know that you can be identified by your ears?

1. From the pen of Mr. A.A. Reiss, University of Lausanne, in his book “Portrait parle” (method Alphonse Bertillon): “The ear has the most characteristic feature elements of the human body thanks to the variation in height and depth of the form. It has such a great quantity of different forms that it is almost impossible to find two persons with parts that are absolutely identical. Besides that the form of the ear does not change from birth until death”.

At the 1:12 mark in this video, his old ear is super imposed over the young one. It's the same ear. I'm so relieved.

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Chris Farley: You remember when you were with The Beatles, and you were supposed to be dead, and, uh, there was all these clues, that, like, uh, you played some song backwards, and it'd say, like, “Paul Is Dead”, and, uh, everyone thought that you were dead? That was, um, a hoax, right?

Paul McCartney : Yeah. I wasn't really dead.

Chris Farley: IDIOT!! That's so stupid! What a dumb question!!

Bollocks! Not true.

You should read this story:

Stupid me, at first I believed it because it seemed “true” but it was just…

just read it for yourself.

Hi, I was searching around on The Beatles Rarity (Great site might I mention) and I came across the Yellow Submarine sound effects, so I gave a listen. It was really cool, but my ear heard a paul is dead reference. Give yourself a listen: http://www.thebeatlesrarity.com/page/2/

It’s at about a minute through, and is heard through the band’s chatter. (NOTE: I do not believe in this rumor, it’s just fun finding these things out.)

Note by Ahhh Girl: posts 15-30 were a separate thread and were merged into this one on 4 May 2014.

Hmmm….I certainly don’t doubt there is something to be heard there amidst the chatter but I can’t seem to be able to discern it.

But that’s the beauty of it, no? If you want to hear it you will.

It’s still kind of neat. And I feel a little accomplished that I’m the only one who figured this out.

I heard it! In 0:55 someone (maybe John by the content of the sentence) said:

“Yeah, Paul is dead, and he never paid me back those three pounds I give him…” or something like that.

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

Sorry, I didn’t mean it like that. I was just wondering if you could create your own myth and see how far it goes?

Well, the Paul is Dead rumour started in 1969 I believe so it couldn’t be a deberate reference. If it is actually in there then it’s juts a pretty weird coincidence. Coincidences don’t prove anything though, especially not something as silly as someone being replaced by an exact double. I wonder how many Paul twins there are in Liverpool?
