I’m going to try to add a handful of photos that I found interesting. They are random ones that I found from various Internet sources that I can’t recall…
The pics of John and george are I believe with Jane Mansfield at Whiskey A Go Go 25th August 1964 https://www.beatlesbible.com/1…..mansfield/
The other one… could it be Litherland Town Hall??
Tough call on Litherland. Chas Newby played bass for them at that gig, but I only see four guys on stage.
Not a bit like Cagney.

The live photo, @U.C.Nothing @Leppo @PeterWeatherby?
Could be Litherland Town Hall… No reason to think not… Okay, no Chas Newby, but they played the venue 20 times between December 1960 and November 1961. Chas wasn’t on bass at every Litherland Town Hall performance…
However, it’s not Litherland Town Hall, it’s the Aintree Institute on 19 August 1961, their 23rd performance there.

Can anyone help me out with a date/location for this? It’s presumably from the 1964 Australian tour, but I’d love to know from where.
I just had a student ask me to help her find information about Didgeridoos. I got hyper excited thinking about this thread and Joe asking about this picture.

Hello. I’m trying to pin down a date for this image:I thought I saw a theory somewhere that this pic has been doctored and some figures added (possibly the back row). I can’t remember where I read it and how reliable it was but it was this same pic. Is that a possibility?
It looks like 1967, but other than that I don’t know.

It’s June 4, 1967. Or maybe it’s not.

@Joe, it’s either January 29, 1967, January 11, January 13, or February 5.

@GardeningOctopus, I found this;
Derek Taylor and an unidentified friend at the Cinnamon Cinder press conference in Los Angeles, 23 August 1964.
Here’s a video of the event
It appears that he’s wearing the same suit as in the photo, so there’s a little validity for you.
As for the “unidentified friend” thing, somebody was probably just having a laff.

The picture was included in a photo exhibition that myself and @Ahhh Girl went to in The Beatles Story second site last year, @SgtPeppersBulldog. If I recall rightly, it was taken in the gardens at Friar Park in 1990.

Hi Alll
I have a black and white photo and was wondering whether anyone can shed any light on when and where it was taken. It is a changing room scene and I was wondering if anyone can spot any clues in the picture as to when and where it was taken. Could the man in the tuxedo be a compere? It measures 9.5 inches in length and 7.5 inches in width. I inherited it fom a relative who was based in London. Therefore it could have been taken at one of the London concerts but I’m not sure about this. Please see the image attached.
Any info would be appreciated.
