I am assuming this is where to put this, but anyway I got into the Beatles when I was around 5. I went from The Wiggles to The Beatles
. I got my first two Beatles albums handed to me that year, Abbey Road and Magical Mystery Tour . I got the Anthology set for my seventh birthday. I just recently got Sgt. Pepper . I also like Elvis Costello and Queen. My favorite Beatle is Paul.
I am currently trying to get my Wings collection started. My goal is to try and get every Beatles and Wings album on vinyl. So I guess that is my introduction? Maybe? (I’m not that much of a typer, I prefer to talk.)

I’ve always come to this website to poke around and look, but I never considered making a profile until now…
Well, I guess that I’ll start by saying that I’m seventeen (you know what that means)
My favourite Beatle is RINGO
I saw Ringo in person about 73 hours ago.

Hey @Ringothewalrus, welcome to the forum.
How was seeing Ringo? I saw him in 2010 (or 2011 – i forget the year) in Glasgow and Ringo was great. Tho it could have been rotten and it would have been incredible as it was Ringo in the same room. He knows how to put on a show and interact with the audience.

Offline @Jojo McCartney, I’m a bit odd in that I started off liking Paul’s solo career first and then worked my way back in time to The Beatles.

Offline Okay, I guess I should introduce myself although I’ve made one or two posts already. Let’s see, the Fab Four entered my consciousness when Please Please Me was released, and my first clear Beatles memory is of listening to From Me To You on the radio in my bedroom. I was in the fourth row at the first show in Christchurch, New Zealand, in June 1964 (still have the tickets stashed away) and for years after I used to go into a local photography shop and look at the photos of me screaming my lungs out. Sadly, I never thought to buy copies. I recall trying to convince my dad that maybe the Beatles were some kind of supernatural attempt at bringing the youth of the world together (and this was before the Maharishi turned up!) He was not convinced. I saw Wings about 25 years ago, and, having discovered in 1964 that I scream in a lower tone than most girls, I settled for loud whooping noises. I was delighted when my oldest granddaughter requested the CD of singles one year. That’s me.
