It was the 15th show by the ninth All-Starr Band. Their tour of North America lasted for 25 dates in June and July 2006.
Starr had previously performed at the Ruth Eckerd Hall on 18 May 1997. He returned there on 2 July 2008, 13 July 2010, 1 July 2012, 23 October 2014, 10 November 2017, and 16 September 2022.
