The event was held at the 69th Regiment Armory on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan.

Lennon and Ono exhibited eight works at the festival. A recording of Lennon’s ‘Wind Piece’, in which musicians played Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony while four giant fans blew the sheet music out of sequence, was played, and ‘Baby Grand Guitar’ and ‘Amaze’ had both been showcased at Ono’s recent Syracuse exhibition. Their other works were ‘Shadow Painting’, ‘Coin Piece’, ‘Please Look At Me, I’m Only Small’, ‘Map Piece’, and ‘Instant Guru’.
