John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s holiday in Wales continued on 22 June 1969.
This was the first full day of their driving holiday, for which they were accompanied by Lennon’s six-year-old son Julian and Ono’s five-year-old daughter Kyoko. The holiday took them around Wales, on to Liverpool, then to the Scottish Highlands.
On this day Lennon drove them from Port Eynon in Swansea to Tywyn, a coastal town then part of Merionethshire in Wales.
