The Beatles’ second consecutive night of concerts at the Johanneshovs Isstadion in Stockholm, Sweden, took place on 29 July 1964. As on the previous night, they performed two shows.
The Beatles performed two shows on this night, at 6.45pm and 10pm. They topped a bill which also featured The Kays, The Moonlighters, The Streaplers, Jimmy Justice, The Mascots and The Shanes.
The Beatles also made an appearance on Swedish television on this day. They discussed their plans for the future, and John Lennon recited his poem ‘Good Dog Nigel’ from In His Own Write.

It is interesting to note that this is probably only the 4th to 7th time AHDN was performed live. It´s live debut was probably in Brighton July 12. It was definitely played at Blackpool Night Out on the 19th and most likely again at the one show in Blackpool on the 26th.
Don´t miss out on the interview, it´s quite funny. John introduces his friends as George Parasol, Ringo Stone and Paul McCharmly. Then when John begins reading from his book, George stops him and start ripping out the pages. John help him with a few more, then somebody steps in front of the camera using his hands as a clapperboard to cut the filming.
