Yoko Ono donates $90,000 to Strawberry Field in Liverpool

On the 44th anniversary of John Lennon’s birth, Yoko Ono donated $90,000 to the Strawberry Field Salvation Army building in Liverpool.

Ono and her son Sean had travelled to Liverpool in January 1984, as part of a promotional visit for Milk And Honey. While there they paid a visit to Penny Lane and Strawberry Field, where Ono pledged to donate money to the children’s home.
