Hit Factory, New York City
Producers: John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Jack Douglas
Engineer: Lee DeCarlo

The tenth recording session for John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Double Fantasy album took place on 19 August 1980.

Two tracks were worked on, both by Ono. The first was ‘Every Man Has A Woman Who Loves Him’, which had Lennon performing a harmony vocal part. The song was remixed in July 1984, with Lennon’s part presented as lead vocals, for the Polydor album Every Man Has A Woman and as a single.

The second song was ‘Hard Times Are Over’, the closing song on Double Fantasy. After the session, Lennon and Ono bought the session musicians dinner at Mr Chow’s in Manhattan.
