Wings filmed a promotional clip for their single ‘Old Siam, Sir’ on 11 June 1979.
The single had been released in the United Kingdom on 1 June. It peaked at number 35 on the UK singles chart on 30 June, and remained in the top 100 for six weeks.
The shoot took place at Lympne Castle in Kent. It was directed by Keith ‘Keef’ McMillan, who did the same later in the week for several other songs from the Back To The Egg album.
That evening Wings held a launch party for the album at Abbey Road Studios.
