Fair Carol, St John, US Virgin Islands

Wings continued recording the London Town song ‘With A Little Luck’ on 11 May 1977.
The session took place aboard the Fair Carol, a 105-foot yacht kitted out with studio equipment from the Record Plant in New York. It was initially moored in Francis Bay, St John, in the US Virgin Islands.
The backing track had been recorded by Paul and Linda McCartney on 9 May. On this day, Paul attempted to add a bass guitar overdub, but remained dissatisfied with the results. The part was recorded the following day.
