A mixing session for the audio of Wings’ film One Hand Clapping was held on 1 October 1974.
The focus of the day’s work was on the backyard recordings by Paul McCartney made on 30 August. Mixes of nine of the songs were made by McCartney and Geoff Emerick.
At this stage, director David Litchfield was intending to create a separate show titled Paul McCartney In ‘The Backyard’, for which these mixes would have been used.
