Recording: I Lie Around by Wings

Studio Two, EMI Studios, London
Producer: Paul McCartney
Engineer: Alan Parsons

Wings worked on the ‘Live And Let Die’ b-side ‘I Lie Around’ on 18 November 1972.

Five stereo effects tapes, including the sounds of birdsong, insects, sheep, and flowing water, were transferred to 16-track tape, and Paul McCartney overdubbed some speech to open the song. ‘I Lie Around’ was completed the following day.
