Recording, mixing: C Moon by Wings

Studio Two, EMI Studios, London
Producer: Paul McCartney
Engineer: Alan Parsons

Wings finished recording the song ‘C Moon’ on 7 November 1972.

The backing track had been taped on 2 September, with lead and backing vocals recorded on 4 and 5 September, and a xylophone overdub on 14 October.

On this day Wings added two tracks of backing vocals, an unused electric guitar part, tambourine, and double-tracked cornet played by Denny Seiwell.

‘C Moon’ was then mixed between 10pm and 3am. Seven stereo mixes were made, numbered RS10 to RS16. The last of those was selected as the best, and the song was ready for release as the b-side of the ‘Hi, Hi, Hi’ single.
