Wings continued recording ‘C Moon’ on 4 September 1972.
The song emerged from a studio improvisation three days earlier, and the band had started recorded it on 2 September. They had recorded six takes, with the last becoming the master.
On this and the following day they overdubbed lead and backing vocals. More recording sessions for the song took place in October and November 1972.
