‘This Loving Game’ was a b-side of Paul McCartney’s ‘Jenny Wren’ single.
It was recorded at Ocean Way Recording Studios in Los Angeles in April 2005, during the Chaos And Creation In The Backyard sessions.
McCartney performed all the instruments apart from drums, which were by James Gadson.
The ‘Jenny Wren’ single was released in the United Kingdom on 21 November 2005 as the second single from Chaos And Creation In The Backyard. It peaked at number 22 on the official chart.
There were two CD singles. The first contained ‘Jenny Wren’ and ‘I Want You To Fly’, while the second, billed as a maxi-CD, contained the additional track ‘This Loving Game’.
