Offline I learned a couple of days ago that when you have worn out the 3.5mm headphone jack on your laptop you can buy a tiny little USB gadget for five quid that by-passes the knackeredjack and allows you to again pop your ears in a bit o’ this!

‘ECHOES’ ON HEADPHONES, YEAH YEAH YEAH 
Anything Pink Floyd on headphones, for that matter. Or… just… anything Pink Floyd. But especially on headphones. 
I was disappointed to learn that the guitar bit in ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’, which I was just raving about, was not actually played by a Floyd member — it was played by a Joe DiBlasi.
I’ll just continue to imagine it was played by Pink — when it’s not played by me, that is.

There is such a thing as a pescetarian.An omnivore who excludes poultry, beef, and pork from their diet but includes fish (and usually other forms of seafood like shrimp, oysters, scallops, etc.).
Because these people do choose to include meat in their diet (seafood is muscle tissue from a live animal and therefore meat), they are not vegetarian as vegetarians do not consume meat.
I just recently learned that there is also such a thing as a pollotarian which is someone who refrains from eating all animals but poor little baby chickens.
Then there are pollo-pescetarians who do not eat animals unless they live in water or are chickens.
But all three groups of people like to erroneously refer to themselves as vegetarians even though they eat animals.
All living things must abide by the laws of the shape they inhabit

How can you be a vegetarian if you eat chicken? Wouldn’t that be a bit of a give away. Or do they classify a chicken as a plant?

I guess they feel that they’re close enough to being vegetarian that they can just say that they are.

Yeah but I really don’t think they feel that they are lying. I kind of understand where they’re coming from because I am a pretend vegan who eats vegan probably 90 percent of the time, but I’ll eat bread or a cookie every once in a while. I don’t usually tell people I’m vegan, though; I call myself an “honorary” vegan.

Offline DNA has just proved there are four different species of giraffe. Up until now it has always been believed they were one species with some regional differences.
Amazing how there are still discoveries to be made in places we think we already know it all.
