Re EU voting, needless to say the SNP dominated in Scotland, improving on last time to increase their MEP’s from two to three.

I voted Green over the Lib Dems.

It’s interesting to see where Labour go now as any positives Corbyn had in the last General Election has evaporated (no-one who is honest has any thought about Corbyn aside from he’s a clueless idiot who couldn’t lead a conga line). I find it amusing that at the moment when the Conservatives are a complete shambles with their support running elsewhere, Labour are matching them.

Oh, and final words. Nigel Farage is vile.

I agree. I’m a Labour member, and I voted Green, because Corbyn’s policy has just been so frustratingly incoherent. The good news for me is that the even more vile Tommy Robinson didn’t get in for the north west area.

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Heres an update from swr because I haven’t checked in in a while.

I had a strong finish to the semester which I feel good about it.

I was back home for 3 days before getting my shoulder operation. I’ve just been hanging in listening to music, reading Batman comics and watching baseball while on narcotics. Should only be a few more days of that. Shoulder hurts a lot, hopefully only a few more days of that as well.

Typically I don’t spend as much time on the forum in the summer, but this summer might be a bit different because i’ll be recovering and rehabing the whole time. Either way, I plan to return to my normal posting habits once everything else in my life goes back to normal.

Boring post alert!

I have an infected finger and after a week wasted taking antibiotics that did nothing it’s now applying a paste to get it cleared.

I’m also more tired of the daily happenings that comes with life and people than ever before. Could go and happily sit and watch the seas ebb and flow away from it all.

I’m actually away from home, but will be back on the weekend, so I’ll get a photo then. I thought I had a pic saved on my iPad, but it’s been deleted for whatever reason, which is annoying. I devoted myself to making a Batman comic collection akin to walking into a comic shop, and over the years I have basically achieved that.

Not sure what you’ve read and what you haven’t, but I absolutely recommend the following:

The Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Haunted Knight, Year One, The Cult, Venom,  Knightfall saga, The Man Who Laughs, Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth, The Killing Joke, Hush, Court of Owls, Ego, Under The Red Hood, The Mad Monk, The Monster Men, No Man’s Land saga.

And many more. Batman has an embarrassment of riches when it concerns comics.

But the ones listed above stick out to me as essentials.

1.The Beatles 2.Sgt. Pepper 3.Abbey Road 4.Magical Mystery Tour 5.Rubber Soul 6.Revolver 7.Help! 8.Let It Be
9.A Hard Day’s Night 10.Please Please Me 11.Beatles For Sale 12.With The Beatles 13.Yellow Submarine

BEWARE THE COURT OF OWLS, THAT WATCHES ALL THE TIME

@Timothy I’ve Read Jeph Loeb’s works and Frank Miller’s. I’m still waiting to fork up the money to buy the Knightfall saga. Most recently I read Hush> Under The Red Hood.

Doesn’t The Cult lead into Batman RIP? Or is that a different arc? I’ve saved your list and I plan to attack it aggressively this summer. I’ve never heard of Mad Monk, but I’m interested. No Mans Land is also at the top of my reading list but I can’t find it all in one place.

EDIT: Looks like you can’t get No Mans Land all together. I’ll have to slowly accumulate the volumes of the series.

It’s something in the air.

Knee update: I walked to the college to get some forms signed and to the pharmacy today without my knee brace. It’s sore but far less than it originally was. The sorest is in the morning before I’ve taken any tablets. Now it just feels weak and tense, I’ll try and stay away from the brace after Friday.

The Cult is seperate. It’s about Batman being captured by a cult leader in the sewers, losing his mind, ultimately escaping and then returning to mete out justice. It’s one of my favourites. You should be able to find it in stores. When I take my photo you’ll see a bunch of other comics you may be interested in too.
