The pull chord on my lawnmover has bust.
My news is similar. We put new blades on the riding mower. Within 5 minutes, I ran over a piece of rebar hiding in the grass. Nicked the blades up something fierce.

Welp, I finally joined the 21st century and bought my first smart-telephone-device-thingie today. Expect I’ll have to take some time to get to learn how to use the damn thing. I understand it can even take pictures and play music!

It is how I carry all of you around in my pocket, wherever I am in the world. It is how I am reading and writing posts on the forum right now as I sit in the shade with the wind blowing my hair around.

Great result. They are getting decent coverage, but football isn’t the main sports code here and the men have struggled to get into the news. Like most countries women and football are not the number one (or even number 10) spot in the sports coverage.

Agreed! You’re welcome, @AppleScruffJunior! It’s a brilliant song to do live, such great energy and cheeriness. I would do even more George songs, but not many of them are one-acoustic-guitar-able. I have that problem a lot.
I forgot to mention, everybody started grinning when I started singing the guitar solo in Something . Not very professional, but I can’t not sing it; it’s practically part of the vocal track for me.
Anyway…
Back in NC now after A Hard Day’s Night of driving– in our new-to-us 2005 white Volvo V70. T’is a gear vehicle– I keep looking out at our drive and saying, ‘That is a hot car.’ Repeatedly.
The fellow who sold it to us left a guitar pick, numerous coins, some CDs, and the CD booklet from a CD his band released (called ‘How To Land’). Pretty awesome junk to leave to the person that purchases your car.
Oh, and my grandparents let me play Let It Be on vinyl. It was fab! I want all my albums on vinyl now.

Offline So, I’d only been inside a courtroom once during my life before (as a witness giving evidence in a trial) and now it’s twice in as many months.
The first was of course my divorce hearing last month.
Tomorrow I am seeking to obtain a restraining order against the person formerly known as my STBE who has been busy stalking me ever since the divorce order.
I’ll let you know how things go – 25 abusive texts in a day is a bit much!
