The penultimate recording session for Wings’ single ‘Hi, Hi, Hi’ took place on 5 October 1972.
The song had a long gestation, but Paul McCartney was mostly satisfied with the recordings so far. On this day Denny Laine and Henry McCullough overdubbed three more electric guitar tracks, and Denny Seiwell added percussion.
