Paul and Linda McCartney completed two songs for the Ram album on 30 March 1971.
Seven overdubs were recorded for ‘Eat At Home’, four of which were lead vocals. The first was marked ‘Main’, and had the McCartneys singing together. The second was for Paul to double-track his lead vocals, and the third and fourth were for Linda to do the same. The remaining three tracks were used for two guitar parts and cowbell.
The final overdub of the day was for ‘3 Legs’. Paul added a lead guitar part during the bridge, and with that both songs were finished.
