Paul and Linda McCartney flew from New York City to Barbados on 21 November 1970.
They had spent much of the previous month working on Ram, which was still incomplete. Prior to resuming work on the album, and with the lawsuit to request the dissolution of The Beatles’ partnership almost ready to file, the couple was in need of some rest and recuperation.
They stayed at the Sandy Lane resort, close to Holetown and Paynes Bay on Barbados. There they remained until 4 December, when they flew back to New York.
