The Beatles live: Olympia Theatre, Paris

The usual two performances at the Olympia, topping a bill that also featured Trini Lopez and Sylvie Vartan. This was the ninth date of The Beatles’ Parisian residency.

The group’s setlist contained eight songs: ‘From Me To You’, ‘Roll Over Beethoven’, ‘She Loves You’, ‘This Boy’, ‘Boys’, ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’, ‘Twist And Shout’ and ‘Long Tall Sally’.

Also on this day, the radio interview the group had given to American Forces Network on the previous day was broadcast on the show Weekend World.
