This was The Beatles’ third show at Litherland Town Hall, where they had given a triumphant homecoming performance on 27 December 1960, following their first trip to Hamburg.
Earlier in the day, following a lunchtime show at the Cavern Club, The Beatles met Brian Epstein for the first time.
The Beatles played at Litherland Town Hall on 20 separate occasions between December 1960 and November 1961.
