He’s actually a good 45 minutes away from here in July; Unfortunately, I’ve been saving up a lot of money for a new computer so I’d be very lucky to get a seat this time around.. I’m very much hoping he’ll still be kicking for a 2014 or 15 tour, so I can see him someday..

Please don't wake me, no don't shake me, leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping~.

I’m pretty excited because my mum brought up Out Of The Blue yesterday that she asked my dad if he wanted to go see Paul in Boston in July and my dad said no (he’s a Beatles fan but doesn’t like the solo stuff). I of course told my mum I’d be happy to go…if she buys the tickets, I’ll drive us into the city and pay for parking and dinner (she hates driving into and out of Boston, I do it daily for work so I don’t mind). Found some good seats still available on Stub Hub so just waiting to get the OK from her and then it looks like we’ll be going, woohoo!a-hard-days-night-paul-5

I was out with my mom on Saturday and she suddeny asked me if I wanted to see Paul in Liverpool, rather than in our city. I’d never thought about that, until now. It’ll be nice to see him there if I can :)

I am seeing him in Milwaukee, I got seats on third base from a radio pre sale password!  It will be my 3rd time seeing him since July 2011, in 3 different states too!  I am going with my girlfriend (who I met through this site), who at the time of the concert will be my financeheart   Proposal date is July 6th (get it?)

That’s awesome! Hope you enjoy it! I am counting the days now to the Boston show, it’ll be the first time I’ve seen Paul, after a lifetime (33 1/2 years and counting) of being a massive fan. I was looking at some of the set lists from last year and they were excellent.

BTW anyone heard if there will be any UK shows? I have several friends in the UK who are dying to know so they can set the money aside to see a show.

^^^ There HAS to be UK shows, I’m sure he’d get loads of bad press off the British fans if he didn’t do even one concert but I’m about 78% sure they won’t be in the summer probably October/November/December

I was hoping he’d play the UK dates in the summer but I don’t think he’s going to, either. I mean, if he’s doing the US still on the 12th of August…. I didn’t want to have to take any time off school.

Never mind, I’d just be happy to see him regardless of when I do.

Haha yeah if he does a concert in Dublin when its not in the summer, even if its a school day I will take the 3 hour bus to Dublin, take a half day off school and go to Dublin, it’d be gas craic!

Yeah, me too. I’ll miss all the time necessary, the teachers will just have to understand :D

I imagine he’ll play in the evening though, won’t he? So maybe we won’t have to take the day off (although if it’s a three hour bus ride for you…)

It’ll be a great excuse though won’t it, “So Katie, why are you leaving school 3 hours early?” “Goin’ to see Paul McCartney sir” “Carry on then!” :D

Hey, guys! Long time no speak. I am finally getting to see Paul! In June at Bonnaroo. I’m super excited and kind of nervous because I’ve never been to a festival. I’m afraid of not getting the full McCartney experience because it’s not a Beatles/McCartney crowd. Also, I’m not exactly sure I’ll get the best view. And I have to camp for like 4 days.

I almost wish I would have waited for when he announced other tour dates, but there was no guarantee I would have gotten a ticket then. It’s basically my last summer before I devote all of my time to the doctorly studies, so I want to have a blast. Talk me through this, folks. Anyone ever been to a Bonnaroo or other festival before? Is anyone going to see our boy this year?

I just wanted to say hi and congrats. I’ve enjoyed reading some of your past posts. I’ve only been to day-long festivals, never camped so I’m sorry I can’t help in that regard. And so far I’ve heard that Paul isn’t coming to my area for a while so I’ll have to wait to see him. Good luck (with school and the festival)!

Edit: I remembered I do know someone who’s been to Bonnaroo. I can ask for advice if you want.

I would very much appreciate any advice! And thanks for the luck. I need all the luck I can get in this life I’ve chosen! Ha…no, everything is really going great. Except for the fact that I’m home visiting my family only to find out that UPS delivered my Bonnoroo wrist band to my back porch 400 mile away. Luckily, I’ve made good friends, and one of them is going to go get it for me before someone steals the damn non-refundable thing.

I did not hear a rumor that all “Out There” venues, by Paul’s orders, will have “meat detectors” which everyone will have to walk through, and if you have a meat sandwich in your backpack, you’ll be frisked.  The guards will also submit anyone who looks suspiciously carnivorous or “meaty” to a breathalyzer test, to see if they’ve eaten any meats or fish or seafood or eggs in the previous 24 hours.

I won’t eat for the day if that’s the case haha. It almost seems impossible, some of his concerts get sold-out in 10 minutes/

What about a pack of Scampi nik-naks or Prawn Coctail crisps and the security guard is a bit over-military in his approach?
