I’m letting my poor little tummy recover from yesterday.
I had bought a seafood risotto yesterday. I thought it had prawns and squid in it. When I looked closer when I got it home, I noticed it also had cockles in it. I am allergic to molluscs. I’ve known that since I was about 13. So I went through and picked out all the cockles I could find, and cooked it. After all, if a cockle or two escaped my scrutiny, how bad could it be?
Oh God !
And then
And as if that wasn’t enough, it was followed by
Then I passed out for about an hour or two, and when I woke up
On and on through the night.
Note to self: You are very allergic to molluscs. The merest hint. Just because you haven’t eaten them in over thirty years, don’t think how bad could it be!
